Description

Flaky golden pastry filled with gooey chocolate and fluffy marshmallow – a campfire treat made easy.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or chocolate squares
  • ½ cup marshmallow creme
  • ¼ cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
  • Extra graham cracker crumbs (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pie crusts and cut into 6 circles.
  3. Place chocolate and marshmallow creme in the center of each circle.
  4. Fold over and press edges with a fork to seal.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash, sprinkle with graham crumbs (and sugar if desired).
  6. Bake 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving warm and gooey.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • These hand pies can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
