A delicious and easy honey garlic shrimp recipe served over rice or quinoa with fresh vegetables.

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- to taste Salt and pepper
- for garnish Green onions
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce until well combined.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional minute.
- In serving bowls, layer cooked rice or quinoa and mixed vegetables.
- Top each bowl with the honey garlic shrimp and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
- This recipe can be adjusted with your favorite vegetables.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the honey garlic sauce.
