Description

This delicious breakfast casserole features flaky crescent dough topped with ham, cheese, and eggs, perfect for any meal of the day!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces crescent dough
  • 8 ounces Petit Jean Sliced Ham (diced)
  • 6 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 1/2 bell pepper (diced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Press seams together.
  3. Place cheese slices over crescent dough in a single layer.
  4. Beat eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour over cheese layer.
  6. Sprinkle onions and half of peppers over the egg mixture.
  7. Add chopped ham and remaining peppers.
  8. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until eggs are set and crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and cut into squares.
  10. Serve hot or at room temperature.

Notes

  • This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator overnight before baking.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
