Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, and slowly add chicken broth and milk until creamy.
  3. Stir in chicken, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
  4. Spread filling into a greased baking dish.
  5. Spoon mashed potatoes over top, smoothing or creating ridges with a fork.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until potatoes are golden.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
