- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 8 small Tortillas (for shells)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Caramel sauce (optional drizzle)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush tortillas with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and drape over oven racks to form taco shells.
- Bake until crisp.
- In a skillet, sauté diced apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until tender.
- Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Fill cooled taco shells with cream cheese filling.
- Spoon warm caramel apple mixture on top.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
- Serve immediately while crisp and gooey.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, adjust the amount of brown sugar used.
- Ensure the taco shells are completely cooled before filling to maintain crispness.
