Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 8 small Tortillas (for shells)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Caramel sauce (optional drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush tortillas with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and drape over oven racks to form taco shells.
  3. Bake until crisp.
  4. In a skillet, sauté diced apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until tender.
  5. Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Fill cooled taco shells with cream cheese filling.
  7. Spoon warm caramel apple mixture on top.
  8. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
  9. Serve immediately while crisp and gooey.
