- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda

- Black sanding sugar (for coating)
- Green and brown M&Ms (for eyes & nose)
- Melted chocolate (for whiskers)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, cocoa, and baking soda.
- Roll dough into balls, coat in black sanding sugar, and flatten slightly.
- Pinch two small dough triangles on top for ears.
- Bake 10–12 minutes, then cool slightly.
- Press green M&Ms for eyes, a brown M&M for the nose, and pipe chocolate whiskers.
- Let set before serving these purr-fectly spooky cookies.
