A delicious dessert combining cream cheese and fresh strawberries wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

- 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick; cut into squares.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each pastry square. Fold corners towards the center and pinch to seal. Brush with egg wash.
- Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the puff pastry is fully thawed before rolling it out.
- For a sweeter filling, adjust the sugar to your taste.
