A simple and delicious homemade strawberry jam made with fresh or frozen strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strawberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • agave nectar (stevia, maple syrup or honey (to taste))

Instructions

  1. To make strawberry jam, put strawberries in a pan and cook them until they break down and the mixture bubbles. You can use a spoon or potato masher to mash the berries.
  2. Then add chia seeds and lemon juice and taste it. If you want it sweeter, add some sweetener.
  3. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes. You can use it right away or put it in the fridge. It will last for 1 week.

Notes
