Description

A warm and comforting spiced tea infused with cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 2 black tea bags (Assam or Darjeeling)
  • 12 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cardamom pods (crushed)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger (sliced)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • Sweetener to taste (honey or sugar)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add cinnamon sticks, crushed cardamom pods, and ginger slices; simmer for 5 minutes to infuse flavors.
  3. Reduce heat, add black tea bags, and steep for another 5 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags and stir in sweetener and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add milk while stirring gently; whisk for froth if desired.
  6. Serve hot in mugs; garnish with extra cinnamon if preferred.

Notes

  • This tea can be adjusted to taste with more or less sweetener, and you can try different types of milk.
