Ingredients
- Spaghetti pasta
- Hot dogs or sausages
- Marinara sauce
- Almonds (for fingernails)
- Olive oil
- Garlic (minced)
- Onion (optional)
- Basil leaves (for garnish)
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté garlic and onion in olive oil, add marinara sauce, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cut hot dogs in half lengthwise if needed, then score light lines to resemble finger joints.
- Press almond slices or whole almonds into one end of each hot dog to create creepy fingernails.
- Arrange hot dog “fingers” on a plate in the shape of a hand.
- Top with spaghetti and marinara, letting sauce drip for a “bloody” effect.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves for contrast.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
- Ensure the hot dogs are fully cooked before serving.
- This dish is perfect for Halloween parties or themed events.
