Description

A soothing tea combining the floral notes of rose buds and hibiscus.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 2 Tablespoons rose buds (or petals)
  • 1 Tablespoon hibiscus petals

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the 3 ingredients.
  2. Bring the water to a simmer and turn off the heat, stirring briefly to saturate the buds.
  3. Allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain it, as the hibiscus blossoms can be bitter if steeped too long.
  5. Sweeten and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
  • For a stronger flavor, steep the tea for a few more minutes, but be cautious with hibiscus.
