Description
Delicious and healthy hoisin chicken lettuce wraps, perfect for a light meal or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 cup water chestnuts, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 16 butter lettuce leaves
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook for 6–7 minutes, breaking it apart until fully browned.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped water chestnuts and sliced green onions.
- Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet and stir well. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Spoon about 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture into each lettuce leaf.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add additional vegetables for crunch.
- Great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
