Description
Spooky red cookie sandwiches filled with chocolate and mini marshmallow ‘teeth’ for a fun Halloween treat.
Ingredients
- Red velvet cookie dough (or red food coloring in sugar cookie dough)
- Chocolate ganache or frosting
- Mini marshmallows (for teeth)
- Almond slivers (for fangs)
- Butter
- Sugar
- Egg
- Vanilla extract
- Flour
- Baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake red cookies until set but soft. Let cool completely.
- Spread chocolate ganache or frosting on the bottom of one cookie.
- Line mini marshmallows along the edge to create ‘teeth.’
- Add almond slivers in between marshmallows for sharp fangs.
- Sandwich with another cookie on top.
- Repeat for all cookies, making creepy monster mouths.
- Serve with a glass of milk or ‘blood-red’ punch for the spooky effect.
