Mini Pigs in a Blanket are a quick and tasty treat made with mini sausages wrapped in puff pastry, perfect for parties or snacks.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 30 mini sausages or cocktail hot dogs
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp water
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ tsp sesame seeds (optional garnish)
- Ketchup and mustard for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut puff pastry into small rectangles, just wide enough to wrap around each sausage.
- Roll each mini sausage in a pastry strip and place seam-side down on the tray.
- Whisk egg with water and brush lightly over each roll for a golden finish.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder or sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake 15–18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Serve warm with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, use plant-based sausages.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
