Description

Mini Pigs in a Blanket are a quick and tasty treat made with mini sausages wrapped in puff pastry, perfect for parties or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 30 mini sausages or cocktail hot dogs
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds (optional garnish)
  • Ketchup and mustard for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut puff pastry into small rectangles, just wide enough to wrap around each sausage.
  3. Roll each mini sausage in a pastry strip and place seam-side down on the tray.
  4. Whisk egg with water and brush lightly over each roll for a golden finish.
  5. Sprinkle with garlic powder or sesame seeds if desired.
  6. Bake 15–18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
