Description

Learn how to make a delicious cantaloupe syrup with this simple recipe.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup melon (cantaloupe or honeydew)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Deseed the melon and cut the ripe flesh into small cubes, so you have 1 cup of melon.
  2. Add all ingredients to a pot and bring to the boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
  5. Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl and pour in the mixture to remove the cantaloupe pieces.
  6. Pour into a bottle or jar and store in the refrigerator once completely cooled.
