- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp cream (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring water and butter to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add flour, stirring until a dough forms. Remove from heat and mix in eggs one at a time.
- Pipe or spoon dough onto a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
- Whip cream, sugar, and matcha powder together until fluffy. Fill cooled puffs with the matcha cream.
- Melt chocolate chips with cream until smooth and glossy.
- Dip each puff top into the chocolate glaze.
- Dust lightly with matcha powder and chill before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the puffs are completely cool before filling to prevent the cream from melting.
- For a stronger matcha flavor, adjust the amount of matcha powder to taste.
