- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (or whole wheat flour for a lighter alternative)
- 1 cup Butterscotch Chips (or chocolate chips if desired)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine mashed ripe bananas, egg, vegetable oil, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
- Stir in ground cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking soda, and baking powder until blended.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 55 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
