- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup apple butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in the light brown and granulated sugars until well combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly before whisking in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and cinnamon; gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the apple butter until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
