Instant Pot Steamed Eggs

Description

Perfectly steamed eggs cooked quickly in the Instant Pot. Great as a protein-packed breakfast or addition to a meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pinch salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Spray inside of silicone muffin cups with olive oil spray.
  2. Pour cup of water into inner pot and lower trivet down.
  3. Place muffin cups on trivet. Crack 1 egg into each one.
  4. Close lid and steam valve and set to high pressure for 3 minutes. (timing will vary depending on size of your eggs and how runny you like them, 4 has more firm whites)
  5. Do a quick release and peel cups off egg and on to toast or plate.

Notes

  • Adjust cooking time based on preferred egg doneness.
  • Make sure to use silicone muffin cups for easy removal.
