Buttery, Golden & Crowd-Pleasing


Ingredients

  • 6 croissants
  • 8 ounces ham
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the croissants in half and layer them in a greased baking dish.
  3. Add chopped ham and Swiss cheese in between the layers of croissant.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the croissant layers, making sure to soak them well.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and set in the middle.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • This recipe can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
  • Feel free to substitute the ham and cheese with your favorite varieties.
