- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
- 2 medium russet potatoes
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Prick potatoes with a fork, rub with olive oil and salt, and bake 30–35 minutes until tender.
- Season steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over high heat; sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side, then baste with butter and garlic.
- Steam or sauté broccoli until just tender and bright green; toss with a little butter and salt.
- Split open baked potatoes, fluff inside, and top with butter and cheddar cheese.
- Slice rested steak thinly against the grain.
- Plate with broccoli and baked potato, and drizzle steak juices over the top.
