A delicious twist on traditional lasagna, these roll-ups are filled with a rich cheese mixture and topped with marinara sauce.

- 12 ounces Lasagna Noodles (Cooked al dente)
- 1 pound Ground Beef (80/20 mix for rich flavor)
- 2 cups Marinara Sauce (Choose your favorite variety)
- 2 cups Ricotta Cheese (Can substitute with cottage cheese)
- 1 large Egg (Acts as a binder)
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese (Can substitute with cheddar)
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (Contributes nutty flavor)
- 1/2 cup Fresh Parsley (Prefer fresh over dried)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles in boiling water until al dente.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet until fully cooked, then stir in marinara sauce and heat through.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, mozzarella cheese, parmesan, and parsley until well combined.
- Spread cheese filling on each noodle, add meat sauce, then roll tightly and place seam-side down in a greased dish.
- Pour remaining meat sauce over the roll-ups and sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake covered for 20-25 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- If desired, substitute cottage cheese for ricotta for a lighter version.
- Fresh parsley adds a burst of flavor, but dried can be used in a pinch.
