Description

Ingredients

  • 5 Medjool dates (pitted)
  • 2¼ cups milk (or almond milk / soy milk)
  • 2 squares dark chocolate
  • 2½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a pot and heat over medium heat until hot, stirring often.
  3. Alternatively, heat in the microwave or directly in a blender that heats.
