Description

This easy slow cooker shredded chicken recipe is perfect for meal prep and can be used in a variety of dishes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs chicken breasts (frozen)
  • 1 cup water (or chicken broth)
  • 1 tsp salt (omit if using broth)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp chicken bullion (omit if using broth)

Instructions

  1. Put breasts in pot with water and sprinkle bullion on top.
  2. Close lid and cook on low heat for 6 hours.
  3. Check internal temp at this time and ensure it has reached 160 degrees F in thickest part of meat.
  4. Shred with 2 forks, lift out with slotted spoon to make a number of different recipes.
