Description
This easy slow cooker shredded chicken recipe is perfect for meal prep and can be used in a variety of dishes.
Ingredients

- 3 lbs chicken breasts (frozen)
- 1 cup water (or chicken broth)
- 1 tsp salt (omit if using broth)
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp chicken bullion (omit if using broth)
Instructions
- Put breasts in pot with water and sprinkle bullion on top.
- Close lid and cook on low heat for 6 hours.
- Check internal temp at this time and ensure it has reached 160 degrees F in thickest part of meat.
- Shred with 2 forks, lift out with slotted spoon to make a number of different recipes.

- Shredded chicken can be used in tacos, salads, sandwiches, or as a protein in various meals.
