Description

A creamy and hearty dish made with chicken and cheese tortellini, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package (20 ounce) frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 can (10 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10 ounce) diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
  • 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Mix cream of chicken soup, diced tomatoes and green chilies, cream cheese, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Pour mixture over chicken breasts.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken shreds easily.
  5. Remove and shred chicken. Return to crockpot.
  6. Stir in frozen cheese tortellini and parsley.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes, or until tortellini is tender.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • This dish can be served with a side of garlic bread or a fresh salad.
