- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

- Cook the Bacon: Cook the bacon until crispy. Drain excess fat using paper towels, then crumble into small pieces.
- Mix the Dressing: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Mix until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large salad bowl, combine the broccoli, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and red onion.
- Dress the Salad: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients. Toss well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
- Chill: Cover the salad bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
Notes
- Make it Healthier: Substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise to reduce calories and increase protein.
- Add Crunch: Incorporate sliced almonds or sunflower seeds for extra texture.
- Make Ahead: This salad can be made the day before serving. The flavors will intensify as it chills.
