- 1 lb ground beef
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, pepper, and chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic, then add beef, salt, and pepper; cook until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, half of the Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and repeat. Finish with sauce and cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes; uncover and bake 10–15 minutes more until golden and bubbly.
- Rest for 10 minutes, sprinkle parsley, and slice to serve.

- For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with sautéed vegetables.
- Let the lasagna rest before slicing for cleaner pieces.
