Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic, then add beef, salt, and pepper; cook until browned.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, half of the Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a baking dish, layer sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and repeat. Finish with sauce and cheese on top.
