Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- Extra powdered sugar, for rolling
Instructions
- Cream softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).
- Add vanilla extract and mix to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt, then gradually mix into the butter mixture.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips evenly without overmixing.
- Scoop and roll dough into 1-inch balls using a cookie scoop or tablespoon.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
- Remove from oven, cool for 5 minutes, then roll cookies in powdered sugar.
- After fully cooled, roll again in powdered sugar for a thicker coating.
- Store in an airtight container or serve immediately.
Notes
- This recipe yields soft and chewy cookies.
- Make sure to fully cool the cookies before the second roll in powdered sugar for the best results.
