Description

A quick and delicious cheesy beef ravioli skillet dish that combines tender ravioli with a rich meat sauce and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package (20 oz) cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt & pepper
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef, cook until browned, and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add ravioli (uncooked if fresh, or thawed if frozen) and stir to coat.
  5. Cover and simmer for 8–10 minutes until ravioli are tender.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella over the top, cover until melted (or broil for 2–3 minutes for bubbly cheese).
  7. Garnish with parsley or basil and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
  • Feel free to use any type of cheese ravioli you prefer.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for a quick meal.
