- 4 Fresh apples
- Vanilla ice cream
- Caramel sauce
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Core apples and slice them almost to the bottom in a crosshatch pattern to create “petals.”
- Brush apples with melted butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until tender and petals open.
- Place each apple blossom on a plate.
- Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Drizzle generously with caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm for the best experience.
- Nutmeg is optional but adds a nice flavor.
- Can substitute with other types of apples for different tastes.
