Ingredients

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for chocolate ganache “patty”)
- Buttercream in red, yellow, and green (for ketchup, cheese, and lettuce effects)
- Sesame seeds (for topping)
- Food coloring (tan for shells)
Instructions
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together for a fine texture.
- Whip egg whites with sugar until glossy stiff peaks form, then fold in dry mix and tan coloring.
- Pipe round macaron shells and sprinkle sesame seeds on top for a “bun” look.
- Let shells rest for 30–40 minutes before baking at 300°F for 15–17 minutes.
- Prepare chocolate ganache for the filling and tint buttercream red, yellow, and green.
- Pipe ganache in the center and colorful buttercream layers around to resemble burger toppings.
- Sandwich together and chill for 1–2 hours before serving for the perfect texture.
