- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Cut puff pastry into 8 squares and press into a greased muffin tin.
- Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden, then cool slightly.
- In a saucepan, whisk milk, sugar, and cornstarch; cook until thickened.
- Stir in egg yolks and vanilla; cook for 1–2 minutes more, then cool completely.
- Spoon cooled custard into pastry cups.
- Top each with fresh raspberries and blueberries.
- Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the puff pastry is fully thawed before use.
- Feel free to mix different types of berries for variety.
- Custard can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
